Harvest has come to a close, and the vineyards are settling into their well-earned rest. As the pace slows and the air grows crisp, we find ourselves embracing the cozy rhythm of the season. November invites us to gather around the table, savor hearty meals, and enjoy the soft glow of the fireplace with a glass of wine in hand.
It’s a time for connection, comfort, and gratitude sharing laughter, stories, and the simple pleasures that make this season so special. Whether you’re preparing for holiday gatherings or unwinding after a busy day, we hope Rove wines bring warmth and joy to every moment you share with loved ones.
As we move into this peaceful season, our winter hours are now in effect, giving you more opportunities to visit and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the estate. We’re also excited to welcome you to our Annual Wreath Workshop on November 20th, a beloved tradition where creativity, festivity, and good cheer come together.

Wine of the Month
2023 Dry Riesling
Bright and expressive, this Riesling showcases Honeycrisp apple, white pear, and juicy peach with hints of apple blossom and jasmine. Lively lemon zest and minerality balance its crisp acidity, creating a refreshing and elegant finish reminiscent of a spring bouquet.
$20/bottle and $10/glass throughout the month of November!
Holiday Pairing Inspiration:
- Glazed Ham with Pineapple and Brown Sugar – The Riesling’s bright acidity and stone fruit notes beautifully complement the caramelized glaze and savory richness of the ham.
- Roast Turkey with Citrus and Herbs – Its crisp lemon zest and floral aromatics enhance roasted poultry and herb-seasoned stuffing.
- Baked Brie with Honey and Pear – The wine’s balance of sweetness and acidity pairs perfectly with creamy cheese and fruit-forward accompaniments.
- Shrimp Cocktail or Oysters – Refreshing minerality and citrus notes elevate classic holiday appetizers.
- Apple or Peach Crisp – The Honeycrisp apple and peach undertones mirror the dessert’s fruit flavors, making for a light, festive finish.
Wholesale Spotlight
This month, we put the spotlight on a Traverse City area staple, and one of Rove’s longest standing partnerships. Tom’s Food Markets have been awarded “Best Grocery Store” in Traverse City on multiple occasions and it is no wonder. With such a diverse selection of local, domestic, and international choices, they continue to keep their customers fully stocked for any occasion. Since 1946, Tom’s has provided an outstanding shopping experience with a community first attitude. To help celebrate both our partnership and the holidays, Rove Winery will be offering a complimentary in-store wine tasting at Tom’s West Bay location on November 25, and at the Tom’s East Bay location December 23.
