March Wine Notes

March Wine Notes

Hello March!

As a fifth-generation family farm with a centuries-old story, we take immense pride in our roots and the traditions passed down through generations. This year, we are especially honored to share that Rove Winery has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Small Businesses to Watch by Michigan Celebrates Small Business ,  a meaningful acknowledgment of the resilience, heart, and community spirit that have carried us forward.

At Rove Winery, we craft wines that reflect our Irish heritage while honoring the original Gallagher family, pioneers of cherry farming in Northern Michigan. Our celebration commemorates not only the resilience of the Irish but also the contributions of immigrants and the bold dreamers who continue to shape our community today.

Come raise a glass with us as we celebrate our rich heritage, our growing future, and the generations still to come.

Sláinte!

Michigan Celebrates Small Business

We are incredibly honored to be recognized by Michigan Celebrates Small Business as one of the 2026 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch!

This award highlights second-stage companies that are privately held and headquartered right here in Michigan, with 6–99 employees and strong annual revenue or working capital. It recognizes businesses that have moved beyond the startup phase and are building real, sustainable momentum.

Judges evaluate companies based on their capacity for continued growth, sustainable competitive advantage, strong workplace culture, and the measurable impact they’re making in their communities. Out of more than 1,000 nominations statewide, only 94 businesses were selected and we’re proud to be among those helping shape Michigan’s entrepreneurial future.

This recognition is about more than numbers. It reflects our team, our vision, and every guest who chooses to spend their time and raise a glass with us.

Here’s to growth, resilience, and continuing to build something special right here at home.
