September Wine Notes

September Wine Notes

September is one of the most magical times of year on the Leelanau Peninsula. The air is crisp, the vineyards are heavy with fruit, and the hillsides begin to transform with the first brushstrokes of fall color. From the highest point of the Peninsula, there’s no better place to take in the views and enjoy your peak wine and color tour.

Harvest will begin later this month, and with it comes an energy that fills the vineyard and tasting room alike. We love sharing this special season with you and invite you to join us for a glass while you take in the beauty of Northern Michigan in autumn.

Beginning September 2nd, our fall hours will be:

  • Monday–Thursday | 11 AM – 7 PM

  • Friday–Saturday | 11 AM – 9 PM

  • Sunday | 11 AM – 6 PM

To celebrate the season, we’re introducing a brand-new Signature Sangria Slushie, made with our Merlot. Bursting with tangy and fruity notes, it’s the perfect sip to enjoy after a color tour or vineyard stroll. And in just a couple of weeks, our seasonal Harvest Hard Cider will be back on tap for weekends only—a longtime favorite that pairs beautifully with sweater weather and orchard days.

Whether you’re planning your fall visit around harvest, cider, or simply the breathtaking views, we can’t wait to welcome you this September.

  • Pumpkin Gnocchi with Brown Butter
  • Cinnamon-Spiced Apple Galette
  • Roasted Root Vegetables (parsnip, carrot, golden beet)
