Chris Smith is a Traverse City based multi-instrumentalist whose sound draws on The Beatles, Jeff Buckley, Sufjan Stevens, Iron & Wine, and Bon Iver. After years away in Los Angeles and Chicago, and time spent touring the world as an arts education ambassador with The Young Americans, he returned home to Northern Michigan and has been a full-time musician ever since. He performs both solo and with his trio, Broom Closet Boys, and remains a steady presence across the Grand Traverse music scene.
